I have been a broker since 2002, in the Ozark Mountains of South Central Missouri. I had been in outside sales in Northern California for all of my adult life. When I moved to Missouri and got my broker's license I just turned all of my sales experience to the real estate industry.
At one point I had three offices across Southern Missouri, all full of agents, all selling real estate full time. Then 2008 happened, and I lost everything I owned. When it picked up again I was down to one office and just a few agents.
In 2016 I was the Realtor Educator for the Ozark Trail Board, training agents across eight counties. It was a lot of fun. I created eight different programs that taught them how to build their business to run like a business, the technology at the time was learning how to use Google Earth, and create Soil Surveys. But for our rural area it was a big deal at the time.
In 2018 I closed my office, and went to work with Keller Williams as an independent agent. Real estate had changed and the only time that anyone had actually come into my physical office was the rare occasion when we decided to meet there. Everything was mobile and had been for several years. A physical office was just no longer a necessity.
In 2020 I moved EXP Realty. There I started a Workplace group called The New Agent Playbook, sharing my teachings with the agents. When I left it had grown to 28,000 members.
In 2022 I created the Real Estate Agents Network and in 2023 created the Action Plan Network to teach just the lead generation strategies from the full Real Estate Agents Training Program.
May 2024 I discovered EPIQUE Realty, and shared my teachings with the agents through different groups, but in 2026 I deleted all of the groups except the Realtors Property Resource Group. I believe it to be the single most powerful platform for a Realtor to learn to use.
2026 I am doing what I love to do, teaching different groups using Zoom, instead of traveling. I can do classes to any point on the map from the comfort of my home. What a fun time to be alive, to go from a table of ten agents, to rooms any where.
